Unique work in iron wire, cotton paper pulp, collage and gold leaf, inside are placed 120 LED lights.
Created in 2025 by Renata Giannelli . The sculpture measures 75 cm in height and 45 cm at the base. The sculpture depicts an ethereal moon, fashioned from baked iron wire that outlines its essential contours. The lightweight structure acts as a transparent skeleton, within which the textured and irregular cotton paper pulp covers certain surfaces, creating a delicate interplay of solids and voids. The work illuminates from within: the light filters through the paper, spreading softly and warmly, while the iron sections remain backlit, drawing a graphic pattern in the air. The result is a fragile and poetic object, simultaneously recalling childhood memories and the precariousness of the material, transformed into a moon of light suspended between presence and absence.
