A unique work made of iron wire, cotton paper pulp, collage, and gold leaf. Each apple contains 120 LED lights.
Made in 2026 by Renata Giannelli , it has a diameter of approximately 25 cm.
It is fashioned from annealed iron wire that outlines its essential contours. The lightweight structure acts as a transparent skeleton, within which the textured and irregular cotton paper pulp covers some surfaces, creating a delicate interplay of solids and voids. The work illuminates from within: the light filters through the paper, diffusing a soft, warm glow, while the iron sections remain backlit, creating a graphic pattern in the air. The result is a poetic and highly decorative object that diffuses a warm, enveloping light throughout the space.
The work is delivered in the appropriate packaging in sewn and printed jute bags, and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
