“Il vestito della festa” (The Party Dress)
“Il vestito della festa” (The Party Dress) is a luminous sculpture created from a dense weave of cooked iron wire, shaped into a dynamic tangle and irregularly covered with cotton-fibre paper pulp. The two materials — one hard and metallic, the other fragile and organic — meet and gradually merge into a single, vibrant substance, rich in textures and natural oxidation effects.
The sculpture measures 62 cm in height, 86 cm in width and 25 cm in depth.
Within the structure, 120 LED lights create a rhythm of solid and empty spaces, illuminating the intricate textures, tracing delicate lines and casting shadows that bring the form to life from within. The sculpture becomes a luminous, suspended and pulsating presence.
The artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity and is shipped in rigid, protective packaging.
